Build the Future of Construction

Work at the intersection of technology, architecture and engineering, and help shape how future homes and structures are being built - today.

Structural Engineer – Regulatory Approval, 3D Concrete Construction

Most structural engineers sign off on plans.

This role is different.

At Laycon, we’ve built the first engineering framework for 3D concrete printing in Israel, designed specifically for regulatory submission. The framework covers load-bearing wall systems, critical connection details, testing protocols, and a pilot plan with a certified lab.

What’s missing is the right structural engineer to step into this framework, validate the assumptions, complete the calculations, and lead the submission to the building control institute.

What you’ll do:
• Review and validate the existing structural framework for a dual-shell load-bearing wall system.
• Complete structural calculations for critical connections: wall-foundation, openings, wall junctions, roof.
• Lead the preparation and submission of a method file to the relevant control institute.
• Work directly with the Laycon team throughout the approval process.
• Help shape a structural methodology that does not yet exist in Israel.

What we’re looking for:
• Hands-on experience with method files for non-conventional construction methods (must).
• Familiarity with approval processes through Israeli building control institutes.
• Willingness to work on method development, not just review a finished plan.
• Practical mindset: someone who can engage with an emerging framework and move it forward.

Why this role is different:
• You’re not joining a project, you’re joining a process that hasn’t been done before in Israel.
• The engineering framework is already in place. Your job is to take it to approval.
• Direct involvement in establishing the regulatory foundation for 3D concrete printing at scale.
• Real impact on how new construction methods get approved and built locally.

Additional details:
• Engagement type: project-based, with potential for ongoing involvement.
• Immediate start.
• Based in Israel.

Architect - Automated 3D Concrete Construction

There are rare moments when you don’t just design buildings – you help redefine how construction works.

At Laycon, we are developing the first real residential and structural projects in Israel using automated 3D concrete printing.

We are looking for an architect who wants to be part of the core team shaping this new construction approach from day one.

This is not standard architectural work.
This is hands-on involvement in projects where technology, design and execution meet.

What you’ll do:

  • Design residential and structural projects optimized for automated 3D concrete printing.
  • Work in a full BIM workflow (Revit → execution).
  • Develop repeatable and scalable architectural models.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, construction and technology teams.
  • Take an active role in shaping the first projects of their kind in Israel.

This is a core role, not a typical external consultant position, but part of the internal team building the foundation of the initiative.

What we’re looking for:

  • Advanced, hands-on proficiency in Revit (must).
  • Strong experience in private residential planning.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to translate design into buildable solutions.
  • Real understanding of construction processes, not just conceptual design.
  • Motivation to take ownership and make real impact.

Why this role is different:

  • Work on real projects using globally proven automated construction technology.
  • Help define a new architectural language for printed homes and structures.
  • Operate at the intersection of design, engineering and on-site execution.
  • Influence how future housing and public structures will be planned and built.

Additional details:

  • Engagement type: flexible (freelance / project-based / potential full-time path).
  • Immediate involvement in active construction projects
    Based in Israel.
